The book I wish I had when I was pregnant with my second baby 🤌🏼

When my oldest met his little brother for the first time, he opened up a small gift from the baby - it was a plush fish toy (that is technically a cats toy as it was from the pets section 🤣)

We’d heard that doing a “gift from baby” was a great way to hep introduce a toddler and it was super sweet ➡️ swipe to see the photos of our 2.5 year old opening up his gift!

… though I think stories like My Mum Built a Baby that not only help prepare toddlers for baby’s arrival when reading during mums pregnancy, but also - reading frequently throughout baby’s first year is SUPER helpful. The themes in the book remind our toddlers:
- baby will play with me when they are older
- baby will spend lots of time in mums arms
