Hello! I’m Courtney – creator of Birchy’s Books & proud mum of two beautiful boys who have inspired all my books to date. We live in North Queensland, Australia.
In 2021, my afternoons were spent in the backyard with my first born, navigating the chaos that is Witching Hour (if you know, YOU KNOW!).
During those long months, two things became our saving grace: reading picture books and watering the garden …and that’s how Birchy’s Books began and why my debut children’s story – My Mum Wets Her Plants, was written – all from an idea that was sparked in the depths of early motherhood.
