Creating Birchy's Books
Hello! I’m Courtney – creator of Birchy’s Books and proud mum to two beautiful boys. We live in sunny North Queensland, Australia.
In 2021, my afternoons were spent in the backyard with my baby, navigating the chaos that is Witching Hour (if you know, YOU KNOW!). During those long months, two things became our saving grace: reading picture books and watering the garden.
…and that’s how Birchy’s Books and my debut children’s story – My Mum Wets Her Plants, was born – from an idea sparked by moments in my first year of motherhood.
